Very good product, I use that USB wireless adapter with MacOS and work very well without any problem with the original driver.I reccomend this product. A++
On the outside of the box this adapter came in there is a list of supported Window OS's. It works with MacOS 10.4 or 10.5. It's a good driver, also.
And it comes with a CD containing drivers. It requested my network name and password whenever I restarted the computer or even woke it from sleep mode. No mention of the Mac OS.
I know because I previously bought another adapter for twice the cost and with a lousy driver. Windows drivers. However, Mac drivers are available for download at Trendnet's own website.
The Trendnet driver automatically restablishes the network connecion with no fuss (in about 15 seconds). Visit the following link to download it: http://www.trendnet.com/asp/download_manager/list_subcategory.asp.SUBTYPE_ID=700
TRENDnet54Mbps Wireless G USB AdapterMy desktop computer does not have a wireless card, so I was looking for a quick and easy way to upgrade. This product took less than 5 minutes to install, and has performed exceptionally since doing so. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple wireless fix.
I used numerous brands and for the price of $23 and performance this is a excellent choice.Works on Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP and Vista. I purchased this for a friend who needed wireless on a old Dell desktop. I researched then purchased this TrendNet USB 2.0 54 Mbps Wireless Adapter. I tested on Windows XP. In less than 5 minutes I installed software that came with adapter and connected to a wireless network. This adapter connected to my Apple Base station without any issues. Also connected to At&T router and Linksys without any issues.Great basic product comes with 3 Year Warranty. If you have any question please email me at dan417@gmail.comI work on computers all day and was very impressed with this adapter for $23.Don't get me wrong it's no wireless N, but for basic internet browsing it's awesome.
I am very pleased and recommend the product whole heartedly. I needed wireless for my very old IBM Thinkpad and the PCMCIA slots weren't working. I found the included software a waste and somewhat hinky. My IBM only has USB 1.1 and this product works with that. I am on dial-up at home so for my downloads I go to the library and this product connects automatically and hasn't dropped the signal yet. I don't use it and uninstalled it. For the price you could do worse.
